Re-bar and wire rod import in US drops drastically

Census bureau reports reveal clearly that the import of re-bar & wire rod by US has declined from the past 6 months. In the month of November the import figure was 42,228 tones. The import decreased at the rate of 37% every month and 50% every year.
A brief statement on US import from Brazil & Mexico –
US imported around 4,130 tons of wire from Brazil in the month of November whereas in the month October the import qty was around 16,700 tons. Hence, the import dropped by a huge blow of 75%.
On the other hand, rod import from Mexico in the month of October was more than 4,470 tons that tumbled to 1,310 tons in the month of November.
