Sustained selling by stockiest also make base metals fell in the local non-ferrous metal market.

Activities in the Base metal market show some depressing sign despite of sluggish claim from consuming industries mainly let to fall in base metals. Said a trader based in Mumbai.

In National capital, Brass huny Scrap and Copper Mixed Scrap declined by 0.63 percent and 0.23 percent to Rs 317 and Rs 439 per kg respectively.

Besides, Brass Accessories dropped by 0.65 percent to Rs 308 per kg and Copper Pat and Copper Super D.Rod both down by 0.22% and 0.20% to Rs 454 and Rs 505 per Kg.

The following are scrap rates for South Indian market per Kg: Copper No:1  - 410, Copper No:2 – 394, Cast Iron 22.
