China’s polyethylene market is expecting fear of further fall in prices
|

According to one of the Chemical Explorer buyer, Crude oil prices were shifted lower this Wednesday resulting a fear of fall in prices in China’s polyethylene market and trying to liquidate the stocks. LDPE prices are hovering in the range of USD 1310 - 1330 per MT CFR China on spot basis in east china. However the domestic market prices are CNY 11,230 per MT Ex works after including the 17% value added tax (VAT) and 6.5% import duty. But the same imported LLDPE was currently being offered at up to CNY11,100/tonne ex-warehouse in east China, with import duties and taxes included. HDPE Cfr China prices are in the range of USD 1210 - 1230 per MT.
