Japanese scrap composite price up

Japan steel scrap composite prices is increased due to rebound of the market price in Osaka
For the first time in near two months Japan steel scrap composite prices have been increased and due to rebound of the market price in Osaka at the same time the price kept low in Tokyo and Nagoya according to JMB report.

As per the report, H2 grade is JPY 21,400 per tonne increased by JPY 300 and new cutting scrap is JPY 26,000 increased by JYP 400 in the fourth week of June 2010 from previous week.

Based on Telegraphic transfer selling rate in US dollar the price was USD 235.97 per tone for H2 and USD 286.69 for new cutting scrap at JPY 90.69 respectively.
