Analysis of Taiwanese domestic market
U.S containers of HMS 80:20 were traded between $443 - $450 C&F in Taiwan in the recent past. Presently, the prices fell by $5 per ton and it is now traded between $438 - $443 CNF. Decreased prices of re-bars and scrap in the Taiwanese local market has affected the prices of HMS 80:20
Although the reports reveal that the US HMS containers are now traded between $438 - $443 CNF, the actual transaction after negotiation will somehow reach $435 per ton.
Further analyzing, the buyers have slowed down the purchase and hence the prices are anticipated to plunge further in the days to come.
