According to the reports, reduced industrial demand on the back of bearish London Metal Exchange (LME) cues amid stockiest selling made base metals to fall at the non-ferrous metal market here today.
Aluminum scrap inched up by 0.82 % due to improved demand in National Capital. Aluminium Utensils scrap and Aluminium Wire Scrap has gained some momentum as suppliers have raised their offer on fresh demand. According to the market participant, Delhi Alumium scrap prices were remained stable for last one week and now it has rebounded from last week lows to Rs 132 and Rs 140 per kg for Aluminium Utensils Scrap and Aluminium Wire Scrap.
Moreover, Aluminum at South Indian scrap market was trading on the positive note today after gaining nearly 2 % on the back of improved demand. However, Copper prices remain stable at Rs 400 , Rs 390, Rs 35 per Kg for Copper No:1, Copper No:2, Copper No:3 for last three consecutive days.
Though Aluminium Sheet cutting has gained Rs 1/kg or +0.73% from yesterday’s trade price to reach Rs 137/kg in the Delhi Metal Market. Nevertheless, prices for Aluminium Ingot remain same at Rs 140/kg for last 5 days in the Mumbai Metal Market.
Meanwhile, Copper Mixed Scrap slumped by Rs 4/kg to reach Rs 433/kg, which is reduced by around 2% from last Saturdays close price. Gun Metal Scrap jalandhar, Gun Metal Scrap Local, Gun Metal Scrap Mix declined by Rs 1/kg to Rs 343, Rs 335, Rs 337 per kg in the Delhi Scrap Market.
Delhi Brass huny Scrap also softened by Rs 2/kg to Rs 314/Kg. Mumbai Brass Sheet Cutting and Brass Utensil scrap prices remain stable for last two days at Rs 33000 and Rs 31900 per 100 Kg respectively.
