MALAR - NEW SEGREGATED NICKEL SILVER CLIPPINGS

ISRI Code MALAR, New Segregated Nickel Silver Clippings shall consist of one specified nickel silver alloy. Not to contain more than 10% of clean punchings under 1 /4 inch.

Nickel Clippings Scrap must be free of chrome and other alloyed material or any other plating material. Leaded nickel silver clippings should be packed and sold separately. 

Nickel Silver is a copper alloy with nickel and often zinc. Nickel Sliver Scrap shall contain 60% Copper, 20% Nickel and 20% Zinc. ISRI Code MALAR, Nickel Clippings contains cuttings and punchings of nickel silver sheet or plate.  Nickel Silver Clippings shall be completely free of alloyed material and free from foreign substances.

ISRI Code MALAR Nickel Silver Scrap mainly contains Clippings and Punchings from a Nickel sheet or plate. Maize Nickel Clippings are the leftover particles from shredding Nickel sheets or plates.

MAIZE Nickel Clippings Vs. MALAR Nickel Clippings

ISRI Code MAIZE, Mixed Nickel Silver Scrap consists of one or more nickel silver alloys but, ISRI Code MALAR; Segregated Nickel Silver Scrap shall consist of one specified nickel silver alloy. MAIZE Nickel Clippings can be alloyed with Iron, Chromium, Cobalt, Zinc, Copper, Lead, Molybdenum, Titanium and more. However, MALAR Nickel Clippings has one specified alloy. This is the only difference between MALAR and MAIZE Nickel Silver Scrap.
